NOT Waiting for the Phone to Ring

It's been a quiet week, and I love it! My phone hasn't rung much and only a few texts a day. My phone is really more of a work phone the last couple years; piano mom's canceling, tenants telling me about leaky pipes, people locking themselves out. But nope, not much of that this week. Just a nice calm week.

Feel Good Message

Elder Holland's Talk from last Fall, Because of Your Faith. I like it.
Fourteen minutes well spent.

I've been so busy with school, callings, work, and feeling pretty wound up because of Peter's Grad School prospects. I came home from work on Friday, crawled into bed and watched about 6 different talk on YouTube, mainly from Elder Holland. Peter got home an hour after me, and I was just in bed, smiling and I felt 100% better.

I really like being A Mormon.

Genocide

...of Fruit Flies!

Gross picture, I know, but I'm happy to have completed this genocide! We killed A LOT of fruit flies. This is apple cider vinegar with dish-soap covered by hole-y Saran Wrap. I did about 8 more of these. And a gallon of Bleach down our drains. But they're all gone! Yes!

Honeymoon isn't over...

Peter is gone this weekend at a Graduate School interview, so exciting! Alas, I am left at home in this fantastic little beach town. I got off work today, not much to do, so I ran to the beach. You know, because it's less than a mile away, no big deal. And the butterflies came back!
I love living in PB! Today is 75f and just the way life should be.

We have loved this year and a half here, but it's not the same without Peter. So yes, I love this city, but it's not the same without my buddy. The honeymoon isn't over with him either.

The picture above is a Christmas gift from Peter. He commissioned Ashley Kressin to take pictures of our favorite spots in PB. She did a great job.
